It looks like Spring is finally arriving.
We've been out on three searches so far this year and
plan to be supportive of the continuing efforts to
find Susan Powell.

We are happy to announce Wilderness Certification for
two more dog teams.  Congratulations to Vickie and Bert
as well as Ken and Tucker.  Both handlers had some healing
to do from human maladies, but resumed where they had
left off and are now strong and ready to work.
Our tails are wagging!!

We are busy doing demonstrations again
and find it rewarding to work with the children
in the hope they are prepared for their
camping, hiking and family fun this summer.
Our hope is that through education, there will be less
and less need for search and rescue as the
years go along.

Thanks to the Swanson Foundation and because of their support
we have been able to give each person a copy of
the book "Search Dogs and You"
to take home and share with their family.

Our goal in doing the demonstrations is to help educate
everyone we can on wilderness safety.
The book is available to anyone who would like one, as long
as they last.  Just contact Paulette at
gooderpaulette@msn.com
or Vickie at
jamiesyra@msn.com

WE continue to train and keep our teams up to the High Standards
set by American Search Dogs.

Some of our team members have been attending
outside training, bringing back new techniques
and insights for continual growth

We hope you enjoy keeping up with our activities
through our Photo Gallery Page.
